::: Supply Chain :::

In order to best manage our partners in the supply chain we have fully embraced both IiP and Egan principles in order to develop and maintain continuous improvement in this important sector of our business.

The principle management tools used to improve performance are, effective and timely communication, detailed planning, understanding and identification of added value, common goals, evaluation and appraisal techniques, respect and feedback.

Subcontractors are selected on the grounds of quality, experience, availability, track record, performance, health and safety and feed back from our own End of Project Surveys, which are completed by the Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor on every Subcontractor utilised on the project.

We also ask our Subcontractors to survey us at the end of each project, which covers procurement through to payment.

We work in partnership with our supply chain, in order to ensure that the product and methods of construction utilised meet or exceed the Client’s requirements.

We believe that the management of our Subcontractor base is such that we are able to deliver best value to the projects that we are involved in. This does not mean accepting the lowest price, and we have, in the past, placed orders in excess of the lowest price on the basis that the higher priced Subcontractor can demonstrate best value to the project.

We believe that early involvement of all major Subcontractors within a project is fundamental to its success.
