Russell Construction is IiP accredited and committed to the development of its people. This is delivered utilising the 'Investors in People' framework, and by in house and external programmes, designed specifically to improve the performance of the individual in line with the needs of the Company.

A prime example of this is Rachel Harris, who joined the Company as Office Junior at the age of 16. It was soon recognised that Rachel’s skills lay in accounting. The Company sponsored her to study for her accounting qualifications and subsequently she qualified through AAT as an Accounting Technician. She carried on with her studies, graduating with a Diploma in Management Studies, and has had a very successful career with the Company which has taken her from Accounts Manager to Company Secretary and in 2009 her appointment to Finance Director.
