STAFF NEWS:
Claire Needes (Team Secretary) tackled her first long-distance run in 2008. Since then she’s completed two more half-marathons and various other lengthy runs, raising oodles of cash for charity along the way. And as if that wasn’t enough, Claire has just won herself a place in the 2010 London Marathon.
Miriam Plant (Buyer) has been running for many years and collected lots of money for charity by taking on – and finishing – the London Marathon twice. More recently she has completed three half-marathons and, on top of all the running, has abseiled down the Premier Inn in Bristol to raise money for the refurbishment of the BRI Oncology and Haematology Centre.
Rachel Harris (Finance Director) has also raised lots of money for charity over the years and recently ran the 2009 Bristol Race for Life. Rachel is already thinking ahead for next year’s event and is planning to get several other members of staff involved. She suggests we all start limbering up now!
